Submit an application
Upon application approval, meet with Open Arms staff to discuss next steps
Complete a home study
Upon home study approval, build a family profile that will be shared with birth parent(s)
Await a match
Once a match has been made, you may have the opportunity to meet and/or communicate with the birth parent(s); a plan will be developed for the remainder of the pregnancy and birth, adoption plan formulation, and legal aspects of the adoption may be started at this time
